Terms of Participation

1. All information provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

2. If the school champion named above wins the 2016 IVRSB, he or she is eligible and expected to compete in the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee. Travel will be during the week of May 22, 2016 and May 28th, 2016 to the Washington, DC area. Quest Literacy Consortium will provide transportation, housing, and per diem expenses for the champion and one (1) chaperone, as designated by the parent or guardian.

3. Quest Literacy Consortium shall not be held responsible for any liability or injury incurred as a result of participating in any phase of this program, as long as Quest Literacy Consortium conducts the IVRSB in accordance with the published rules for this spelling bee.

4. The IVRSB Champion is expected to fully participate in the tutoring program provided to prepare him or her for the level of competition at the Scripps National Spelling Bee. This tutoring program is provided by the Quest Literacy Consortium, and will consist of between six and twelve one hour sessions. Location and time for each session will be mutually agreed.
